Briefly: Anthrax, 50 Cent, Beck, Bizarre, April Sixth
The original Anthrax lineup of Joey Belladonna, Frankie Bello, Charlie Benante, Scott Ian and Danny Spitz has reunited after a 13-year split, and is planning to tour.
Just two U.S. dates are currently on the band's schedule: April 30 and May 1 at the House of Blues in Chicago. From there, the band embarks on tours of Europe and Australia.
For the fifth consecutive week, 50 Cent 's "The Massacre" is the top-selling album in the United States. Beck 's "Guero" debuts at No. 2, the artist's highest showing ever on The Billboard 200 album chart.
Rapper Beanie Sigel, who is currently imprisoned on a gun-possession charge, enters the chart at No. 3 with his new set, "The B. Coming." 112's "Pleasure and Pain" debuts at No. 4, while the hits compilation "NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 18" rounds out the Top 5.
Bizarre , of the Eminem hip-hop crew D-12, drops his solo debut on June 28. Eminem produced the album, titled "Hannicap Circus."
Southern California rock quintet April Sixth --which takes its name from the date of its first big gig--celebrates that anniversary with a Wednesday (4/6) performance at the Showcase Theatre in its hometown of Riverside. The band's debut album, "In Memory" will hit stores this summer, and will be preceded by first single "Dear Angel."
