Alter Bridge fills more blanks in spring itinerary

Rockers Alter Bridge have penciled in more stops for their in-progress tour behind their debut set, last year's "One Day Remains."

The group's schedule now includes new April and May headlining stops in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and the band's home state of Florida. Future Leaders of the World and Submersed hold down the tour's opening slots.

Also on tap are a few previously reported late-April/early May shows with 3 Doors Down and Breaking Benjamin , and a May 7 performance that will also feature Velvet Revolver. Details are shown in the itinerary below.

Released last August, "One Day Remains" is the debut set from Creed alumni Mark Tremonti (guitar), Scott Phillips (drums) and Brian Marshall (bass), who formed Alter Bridge along with former Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy. The set has achieved gold status, recognizing U.S. shipment of 500,000 copies.

"One Day Remains" features the cuts "Open Your Eyes" and "Find the Real," as well as latest single "Broken Wings," audio and video versions of which are streaming at the band's website.

Future Leaders of the World are backing their debut set, "LVL IV," which surfaced last October.

Submersed's debut, "In Due Time," hit stores last September, and features production on some tracks by Alter Bridge's Tremonti.
