Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson--whose real name is Alex Zivojinovich--and his son reportedly have reached plea agreements that will keep them out of prison.

The two were originally charged with felonies in connection with a New Year's Eve 2003 incident at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Naples, FL. Both pled no contest to a single charge of resisting arrest without violence, a misdemeanor.

According to published reports, Lifeson was accused of spitting blood in a deputy's face and pushing an officer down a stairwell. The incident reportedly began when Lifeson's son jumped onto a stage where a house band was performing and refused to leave.
