Crossfade to remain on the road through summer
Crossfade's self-titled debut hit stores last year, and has sold consistently thanks to the group's busy touring schedule and its ubiquitous rock-radio single "Cold." The album is now certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, and has sold more than 700,000 copies to date, according to the quartet's publicist.
"I was completely blown away," lead singer/guitarist Ed Sloan said in a statement of the success of "Cold." "We didn't even hear it as a single at first, and now to keep hitting all these milestones, it's amazing to us."
Last month, "Crossfade" was reissued in DualDisc format, which allows for the album's audio to appear on one side of the disc and DVD content to appear on the other. The DVD side of the disc features live footage, a lengthy interview with the band and the "Cold" video.
The group recently released the album's third single, "Colors," which follows the cut "So Far Away."
