A New York jury has awarded nearly $3 million to Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails after finding that Reznor's longtime manager, John Malm, was in breach of his contract and acted fraudulently, according to the Associated Press.

Reznor claimed that he unwittingly signed a contract that gave Malm 20 percent of his gross earnings rather than his net earnings, as is customary.
