Briefly: Paul McCartney, Bobby Brown, Juliana Hatfield, Blackalicious
Paul McCartney is teaming with children's book author Philip Ardagh and animator Geoff Dunbar to write a picture book titled "High in the Clouds: An Urban Furry Tail," the Penguin publishing house announced.
"Having worked on this story and the characters for many years, it's very exciting for me to see things come to fruition in what I think will be a remarkable book," McCartney said in a statement.
The book will be released in October.
An arrest warrant for Bobby Brown reportedly was issued after the singer failed to appear at a Wednesday (6/1) child-support hearing in Massachusetts.
Brown's lawyer told a family court judge that Brown became ill, and was hospitalized in Atlanta, but the judge issued the warrant because there was no documentation of the illness.
Juliana Hatfield will issue a new CD titled "Made in China" this August via her own Ye Olde Records label, according to her official website.
Hip-hop group Blackalicious will release its fifth album, "The Craft," on Sept. 27.
