Briefly: Stevie Wonder, Toni Braxton, George Clinton, Kelly Osbourne
Stevie Wonder , Will Smith, Alanis Morissette and Kelly Clarkson are among the artists scheduled to perform during this year's NBA finals, which get underway June 9.
Smith will perform his recent single "Switch" before Game One, and Morissette will follow with the national anthem. Clarkson will sing the national anthem before Game Two, and Wonder will perform his latest single, "So What the Fuss," before Game Three.
R&B singer Toni Braxton will release a new album titled "Libra" in September, according to Universal Records.
The set, Braxton's sixth, was produced by Scott Storch (Beyonce, Snoop Dogg).
Following a 12-year legal battle with previous business associates, funk legend George Clinton has regained the rights to four master recordings he recorded under the name of Funkadelic: "Hardcore Jollies," "One Nation Under a Groove," "Uncle Sam Wants You" and "The Electric Spanking of War Babies."
Clinton is expected to receive past royalties from the album, which reportedly have been accruing in an escrow account.
Kelly Osborne, whose sophomore album "Sleeping in the Nothing" is due in stores Tuesday (6/7), reportedly has checked herself into a Pasadena, CA, drug rehabilitation center.
In April 2004, Osbourne, 20, checked into a Malibu, CA, rehab center for treatment of a painkiller addiction.
