Nine Inch Nails set fall tour with Queens of the Stone Age
The run is scheduled to kick off Sept. 16 in San Diego, and dates so far stretch into early November. Details are included below.
Los Angeles trio Autolux will hold down the opening slot from Sept. 16-Oct. 14, and Canadian rock duo Death from Above 1979 will take over from Oct. 16-Nov. 3, according to Nine Inch Nails' website.
Currently on tour in Europe, Nine Inch Nails are backing "With Teeth," the group's first new album in almost six years. Released in early May, the set sold about 270,000 copies during its first week in stores, and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart. Fueling sales was the album's first single, "The Hand That Feeds."
In late April, NIN kicked off a month-long tour of North American theaters, which touched down in 14 cities. The group played two nights in most markets, and posted sell-outs at every stop.
Queens of the Stone Age, who are also on the road in Europe right now, are backing their March release, "Lullabies to Paralyze." The set, which features the cut "Little Sister," made its debut at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Autolux issued its debut, "Future Perfect," last September, while Death from Above 1979's debut, "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine," surfaced last October.
