Briefly: Bon Jovi, George Strait, Good Charlotte, LaToya London
Bon Jovi will issue a new, as-yet-untitled album on Sept. 20, according to Island Records.
The set's first single, "Have a Nice Day," is due to hit radio July 18. Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora produced with John Shanks (Kelly Clarkson, Hilary Duff).
Bon Jovi's most recent release is 2002's "Bounce."
Country mainstay George Strait drops his 33rd album, "Somewhere Down in Texas," on June 28, according to his publicist.
The album includes a cover of Merle Haggard's "The Seashores of Old Mexico," as well as a duet with Lee Ann Womack.
Good Charlotte reportedly has canceled a planned concert in Indonesia due to terrorism fears. The band had been scheduled to perform in Jakarta later this month.
LaToya London, a finalist during the third season of the Fox-TV talent show "American Idol," will release her debut album, "Love & Life," on Sept. 20. The album's first single, "Appreciate," features Black Thought of The Roots.
