Bruce Springsteen readies 'Storytellers' concert DVD
An expanded and re-edited DVD version of Bruce Springsteen 's "VH1 Storytellers" concert, which was taped April 4 in Red Bank, NJ, will hit stores Sept. 6.
Springsteen performed the concert almost entirely solo, playing piano, guitar and harmonica. His wife, Patti Scialfa, joined him on vocals for "Brilliant Disguise."
The concert was recorded in high definition, and the DVD includes a 5.1 Surround Sound mix and a PCM stereo mix.
The track listing is:
1. Devils + Dust
2. Blinded by the Light
3. Brilliant Disguise
4. Nebraska
5. Jesus Was an Only Son
6. Waitin' on a Sunny Day
7. The Rising
8. Thunder Road
According to Springsteen's publicist, his previous DVD, 2003's "Live in Barcelona," has been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, while 2001's "Live in New York City" is certified triple platinum.
Springsteen is currently in the midst of a solo tour to back his latest release, "Devils & Dust," which debuted atop The Billboard 2000 album chart earlier this year.
