B.B. King is set to drop a new duets album Sept. 13, during the same week he celebrates his 80th birthday.
Among the guests who appear on the set are Elton John , Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Sheryl Crow, Daryl Hall, John Mayer, Roger Daltrey and Gloria Estefan.
With five nods, R&B artist Ciara leads the list of nominees for the 10th annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, which were announced Tuesday (8/9).
Claiming four nominations apiece were Fantasia, Amerie and Destiny's Child.
Winners will be announced during a Sept. 7 ceremony at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA, and will be taped for broadcast in syndication.
Shakira and Ludacris have been added to the list of performers for the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, which take place Aug. 28 in Miami. They join previously announced acts Beyonce, Metallica, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, 50 Cent, Coldplay and Good Charlotte.
