Widespread Panic packs fall tour schedule

Currently on break after wrapping up its summer tour, Widespread Panic gets back on the road in September for an extensive fall outing.
The group's September plans begin with a two-day stint at the Jazz Aspen festival in Colorado, followed by a performance at this year's Farm Aid benefit in the Chicago area. Subsequent shows are set through the end of October, a month the group will cap with an Oct. 30 appearance at the inaugural Vegoose festival and a headlining Halloween show, the venue for which has not yet been confirmed. Details are included below.
Earlier this year, Widespread Panic ended a 15-month touring sabbatical. To coincide with its return to the road, the group launched LiveWideSpreadPanic.com, where downloadable audio versions of many of its 2005 shows are available for purchase.
Widespread Panic's latest release is February's "Live at Myrtle Beach," a concert album recorded in 2003. The Athens, GA-based group's most recent studio set is 2003's "Ball."
