Blues Traveler gearing up for new album, tour
Titled "¡Bastardos!," the new set is due out Sept. 13. Prior to its release, the band will play a handful of early September shows, as shown in the itinerary below.
The group will follow the album's release with a run on the U.S. club and theater circuit that kicks off Sept. 22 in Dallas, and is so far scheduled to run through early November.
The day before the tour launches, the band is scheduled to appear on "The Howard Stern Show." During the appearance, the group plans to cover a novelty song originally sung by Stern-show regular Beetlejuice; Staind performed its version of the song on Stern's show earlier this month.
Other promotional appearances for Blues Traveler include a performance on the Sept. 8 episode of "Last Call with Carson Daly."
"¡Bastardos!" is Blues Traveler's first new studio set since 2003's "Truth Be Told."
