Pat Green continues to make the road his home

With his lengthy stint on Kenny Chesney's tour now in the books, Texas honky-tonk artist Pat Green [ tickets ] has lined up a fall trek through the Midwest and West that so far runs through mid-December.

The jaunt visits a variety venues, ranging from the Houston area's huge Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Texas to Tempe, AZ's intimate Marquee Theatre. The Texas show is part of the all-day KILT-FM "Fall Fandango," starring Green, Dierks Bentley, Shooter Jennings [ tickets ], Randy Rogers Band, Bobby Pinson and Django Walker.

Green released his latest album, "Lucky Ones," which features the single, "Baby Doll," last October. According to his website the video for "Baby Doll" has reached No. 17 on the CMT (County Music Television) charts.

Labelmate Shooter Jennings [ tickets ], the son of the late Waylon Jennings, is scheduled to open several shows on the tour; details are below. Jennings, who spent the summer opening for Toby Keith, released "Put the O Back in Country" on March 1.

Jennings is set to play his father in the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line," which hits theaters this fall.
