With six nods each, country singers Brad Paisley [ tickets ] and Lee Ann Womack [ tickets ] lead the pack of nominees for this November's 39th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

Paisley pulled down nominations for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year; Single, Song and Music Video of the Year for his hit "Alcohol"; and Musical Event of the Year for "New Again," a duet with Sara Evans.

Womack, meanwhile--who, along with fellow singer Keith Urban [ tickets ], announced this year's nominees during a Wednesday (9/7) press conference in New York City--is vying for Female Vocalist of the year; Single and Music Video of the Year for "I May Hate Myself in the Morning"; Album of the Year for "There's More Where That Came From"; and two Musical Event of the Year awards for her duets "I'll Never Be Free" with Willie Nelson and "Good News, Bad News" with George Strait.

Urban and Toby Keith [ tickets ] follow with four nominations each. Urban is up for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Be Here," and Music Video of the Year for "Days Go By," while Keith is in contention for Entertainer of the Year, as well as Single, Song and Music Video of the Year for "As Good As I Once Was." Keith is also eligible for an additional trophy as co-producer of "As Good As I Once Was."

Rascal Flatts [ tickets ], George Strait, Sugarland and Gretchen Wilson each pulled down three nominations, while Big & Rich, Alison Krauss, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Sara Evans and Martina McBride each scored two nominations.

The 39th Annual Country Music Awards are scheduled for Nov. 15 and will air live on CBS. Country duo Brooks & Dunn will host the show, which, for the first time, won't take place in Nashville. Organizers have instead moved the ceremony to New York City's Madison Square Garden in order to "reach a broader consumer base, placing country music in the heart of the media and marketing capital of the world," according to a press release.

Along with the move comes the first time in the event's history that the public can purchase tickets to attend the ceremony. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale via Ticketmaster Sept. 17 a 12 noon ET, according to a press release. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.)
