Rolling Stones add new dates in South Florida, Boston
The latest North American additions to The Rolling Stones ' "A Bigger Bang" world tour are a Jan. 15 gig at Boston's TD Banknorth Garden--the group's second show at the venue--and a March 12 stop at Ft. Lauderdale's Bank Atlantic Center.
Tickets for the newly announced Florida show go on sale Saturday (9/17), according to the Stones' official website, while tickets for the new Boston date go on sale Sept. 19. Pre-sale tickets are available before the public on-sales; details are posted at the site.
On Aug. 21, the Stones launched a world tour behind their new album, "A Bigger Bang," with the first of two shows at Boston's Fenway Park. The group is expected to remain on the road for the next year.
Last week, the Stones announced that they have made a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Katrina. The band has also begun to ask fans to contribute to the fund at its concerts.
