311 launches fall tour in October
Having just wrapped up one lengthy tour in mid-September, the 311 guys will again take to the road in October.
The tour kicks off Oct. 15 in Los Angeles and then moves up and down the West Coast before heading east, ending—-at least for now—-in Lowell, MA, on Nov. 23. The band's current schedule is listed below, and more dates are expected.
Tickets for several shows are on sale now, and more are set to hit the box office this weekend and next. Fans also have a shot at tickets before the public on-sale dates via an online pre-sale. Information is available at 311's website.
The tour's opening concert will take place in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium. Although admission to that concert is free, fans must first register for tickets at the event sponsor's website. Tickets are limited, so fans are encouraged to register soon.
Other tour highlights include a late-October, three-night stand at the Fillmore in San Francisco; and two mid-November shows at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom.
311 is touring in support of "Don't Tread on Me," which was released in July. The album is the group's eighth studio set and its first batch of new songs since 2003's "Evolver."
