Briefly: Madonna, Nirvana, Bush, Liz Phair
Madonna has unveiled the track listing for her forthcoming album, "Confessions on a Dancefloor."
Scheduled for release on Nov. 15, the set will feature the following 12 new cuts:
"Hung Up"
"Get Together"
"Sorry"
"Future Lovers"
"I Love New York"
"Let It Will Be"
"Forbidden Love"
"Jump"
"How High"
"Isaac"
"Push"
"Like It Or Not"
The new album's cover art is posted at Madonna's website.
Geffen/Universal has announced a Nov. 1 release date for "Sliver: Best of the Box," a single CD containing cuts that first appeared on last year's Nirvana box set, "With the Lights Out."
In addition to highlights from the 2004 box set, "Sliver" will also include three previously unreleased tracks.
While former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale stays busy with his new rock quartet, Institution, Kirtland Records looks to the past with its forthcoming DVD and live CD, "Zen x Four." The DVD will contain all of Bush's music videos, while the CD will house unreleased live and acoustic material, according to a press release. The discs are due in stores on Nov. 1.
Singer/songwriter Liz Phair will precede her forthcoming fall tour--which kicks off Oct. 6--with a few high-profile television performances.
Phair is scheduled to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Oct. 3, and on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" and "Last Call with Carson Daly" Oct. 4, the same day that her new album, "Somebody's Miracle," arrives in stores.
