Trey Anastasio [ tickets ] will jam through clubs and theaters during a late-fall tour in support of his forthcoming solo album, "Shine."

Following a pair of previously announced performances during Halloween weekend as part of the inaugural Vegoose festival in Las Vegas, NV, Anastasio will kick off his 19-date tour on Nov. 2 in Minneapolis, MN. The former Phish [ tickets ] frontman will spend much of that month on the East Coast and then move to venues on the West Coast in late-November.

The tour includes a two-night stand (12/2-3) at the Warfield in San Francisco. Anastasio's last visit to that old Grateful Dead haunt back in 2003 has become nearly legendary in jam-band circles. It was on that night that Carlos Santana sat in with Anastasio, the result of which has been released on DVD.

Anastasio's plans also include opening a pair of early October stadium shows for the Rolling Stones in Virginia and North Carolina. Details are included in the itinerary below.

"Shine," Anastasio's first release for Columbia Records, is set to hit stores on Nov. 1.

Anastasio has dubbed his current backing band 70 Volt Parade. The rock ensemble features bassist Tony Hall, multi-instrumentalist Les Hall, drummer Skeeto Valdez, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and vocalists Jennifer Hartswick and Christina Durfee.

Anastasio's best-known band, Phish, was one of the industry's top touring entities for over a decade. Although the group never scored a Top 10 album, it could routinely sell out multi-night stands at 20,000-plus-seat arenas and amphitheaters across the country. Phish called it quits in 2004 following a weekend-long farewell party/concert held in the band's home state of Vermont that drew more than 60,000 fans.
