Chris Botti sounds off during massive tour
Trumpeter Chris Botti will make the road his home for months to come thanks to a tour itinerary that stretches deep into next year.
Botti, who launched the outing earlier this month, has dates lined up through mid-December--including a five-night stand in New York City--and has stacked up a 2006 schedule that kicks off in early January and runs through mid-May. Details are included below.
The roadwork supports Botti's new album, "To Love Again," which landed in stores Tuesday (10/18). The set features vocals from Sting, Paula Cole, Michael Buble, Jill Scott, Paul Buchanan, Gladys Knight, Renee Olstead, Rosa Passos and Steven Tyler.
The London Session Orchestra backs Botti on the disc, which also features four instrumental cuts.
Columbia has issued "To Love Again" in regular audio-CD format, as well as in DualDisc format. The latter features footage shot during the making of the album, as well as interviews, studio performances and more, according to the label.
"To Love Again" follows last year's "When I Fall in Love," which has sold more than 500,000 copies to date.
