Briefly: Bette Midler, Ludacris, CMA Awards, Moe.

Bette Midler will make a rare in-store appearance at New York's Tower Records Downtown, located at Broadway & 4th Street in Manhattan, beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday (10/25), according to Columbia Records.

Midler will be signing copies of her new album, "Bette Midler Sings the Peggy Lee Songbook."

A Dec. 13 release date is on the books for the compilation album " Ludacris Presents ... Disturbing Tha Peace." Among the guests who appear on the set are Jamie Foxx, Trick Daddy and Redman.

A limited-edition version of the album will be packaged with a DVD of music videos, including lead single "Georgia," featuring Foxx and rapper Field Mob.

Jon Bon Jovi and Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles will perform "Who Says You Can't Go Home"--a song they performed on a recent episode of "CMT Crossroads"--during the 39th Annual CMA Awards , set for Nov. 15 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

In another cross-genre performance, Paul Simon and Willie Nelson are scheduled to perform a song together, and will also present the Song of the Year Award.

Jam-band Moe. will be aboard the cruise ship Norwegian Jewel for the group's second music cruise, which runs Jan. 7-14, 2007.

The ship heads East out of Miami, and hits the ports of San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Johns, Antigua; St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. Moe. will play sets throughout the week.
