Story of the Year [ tickets ], fresh off a busy summer and fall headlining tour, continues to support its recently released third album, with a slew of new December concert dates.

The band will open its newest U.S. stretch Dec. 2 in Fort Meyers, FL, after finishing up its current stint in the UK and Germany. The European itinerary can be found at Story of the Year's website.

Story of the Year toured extensively during the summer and fall, including a slot on the Van's Warped Tour in August. The band will be playing mostly mid-size clubs on their December outing.

"In the Wake of Determination," the band's third studio album, was released last month on Maverick. Produced by Steve Evetts (The Cure, Hatebreed,) the album debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Fans can get a sneak preview of songs from "In the Wake of Determination" on Story of the Year's MySpace webpage. Three songs from the album are currently streaming at the site: "Our Time is Now," "Take Me Back" and the band's current single "We Don't Care Anymore."
