Kid Rock ends hibernation this winter
Detroit rocker Kid Rock , who has been off the road since late last year, will end his touring hiatus with some early 2006 shows that include a two-night stand in his hometown just prior to the Super Bowl.
So far, Rock has lined up four late January shows, as well as the aforementioned two-night Detroit engagement, set for Feb. 3-4. Tickets for most shows are on sale now, while those for planned stops in Verona, NY; and Dayton, OH are scheduled to hit the box office Saturday (12/10). Details are included below.
To coincide with the tour, Rock is reportedly readying a live album that is expected to surface in February. His most recent release is his 2003 self-titled set, which features his cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love."
Before heading out on the road, Rock plans to cap 2005 with a New Year's Eve appearance at Las Vegas' Jet Mirage Nightclub, during which he's scheduled to a be a guest DJ. More information is posted at his website.
