Following up on a pair of recent U.S. showcases, Queen [ tickets ] guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers have unveiled plans for a six-week North American tour.

On-sales get underway Friday (12/9) for the trek's planned stops in Toronto and Vancouver, British Columbia, while tickets are set to hit the market Saturday (12/10) for shows in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, San Jose and St. Paul, MN.

Aerosmith [ tickets ] and Lenny Kravitz, who will tour the arena circuit together well into the New Year, continue to announce new shows.

Billy Joel [ tickets ] is scheduled to launch his first major solo outing since his 1998-99 trek next year, and new dates continue to roll out.

Latin pop sensation Ricky Martin [ tickets ] backs his latest album, "Life," with a U.S. tour that launches early next year.

Country superstar George Strait [ tickets ] will play concerts in about 24 North American cities between January and June, and tickets continue to hit the market.

Saturday (12/10) on-sales are scheduled for Strait's 2006 appearances in St. Paul, MN; Omaha, NE; Oklahoma City, OK; North Little Rock, AR; and Birmingham, AL. On Monday (12/12), tickets are scheduled to roll out for Strait's planned Worcester, MA, show.
