G. Love sets tour for early 2006

Singer-guitarist Garrett Dutton--better known as G. Love--and his band Special Sauce have announced dates for a tour during the first few months of 2006.
The blues/rap/R&B trio will first send off 2005 with a pair of dates in Aspen, CO--Dec. 30 and New Year's Eve. The Philadelphia-based band will then set out for the Southeast for a Jan. 12 show in Memphis, TN.
The tour zigzags across the country, with dates on the West Coast during the middle of January, followed by East Coast and more Southeast shows in February.
The band's New Year's concert in Aspen will be broadcast live over Sirius Satellite Radio.
In a posting on the band's website, G. Love wrote that the band is currently working on a new studio album, which would be the group's first since 2004's "The Hustle." The band's leader mentioned that possible guest performers on the new album would include Blackalicious, Particle and Amos Lee.
