The Allman Brothers Band [ tickets ] has unveiled plans for its annual "March Madness" residency at New York City's Beacon Theater, a tradition that the classic rockers began in 1989.

This year's run is set for March 9-25, and includes 13 shows. Tickets for all shows went on sale Friday morning (1/6).

Country superstar George Strait will play concerts in about two dozen North American cities between January and June, and tickets are continuing to hit the market.
