Briefly: Flaming Lips, Pink, DMX, Every Time I Die
The Flaming Lips will release a new track titled "The W.A.N.D." via participating digital-music retailers--including iTunes and Rhaposody--on Jan. 10, according to Warner Bros. Records.
The song is from the band's upcoming album, "At War with the Mystics," due in April.
Pop star Pink , 26, and her longtime boyfriend, motocross racer Carey Hart, 30, got married on the beach at the Four Seasons resort in Costa Rica on Saturday (1/7), People magazine reported.
Rapper DMX was released from Rikers Island Jail in New York on Dec. 30. He served about a month of a two-month sentence, and was granted an early release for good behavior and time served.
DMX pleaded guilty last year to reckless endangerment after smashing his SUV into a gate at New York's Kennedy Airport in 2004, and was sentenced to a conditional release stipulating that he could land in jail if he violated the law again within the next year.
After that, he was hit with two traffic violations while his driver's license was either suspended or revoked: he was cited for driving a car at more than 100 mph, and was involved in a three-car traffic accident, one of the cars being an unmarked police car, according to an Associated Press report.
Rockers Every Time I Die will return to their support slot on Story of the Year 's tour on Tuesday (1/10). Members of the band suffered minor injuries in a recent van accident in Wyoming.
