Kelly Clarkson was named Favorite Female Musical Performer, Tim McGraw took the award for Favorite Male Musical Performer and Green Day claimed Favorite Musical Group at the 32nd annual People's Choice Awards.
The Favorite Tour award went to U2, and Jessica Simpson's "These Boots are Made for Walkin'" won Favorite Song from a Movie.
The awards were handed out Tuesday night (1/10) at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles during a ceremony that aired on CBS-TV.
Jamie Foxx 's "Unpredictable" has claimed its second consecutive week atop The Billboard 200 album chart, holding off Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough," which stays put at No. 2.
Eminem's "Curtain Call: The Hits" again claims the No. 3 slot, while The Strokes' "First Impressions of Earth" makes its debut at No. 4. Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" is spending its third consecutive week at No. 5 on the chart.
Babyshambles frontman and ex-Libertine Pete Doherty , 26, reportedly pleaded guilty on Wednesday (1/11) to possessing heroin and cocaine. Doherty, who has been open about his illicit drug use, was arrested in London last November on suspicion of illegal drug possession.
He reportedly arrived at court more than an hour late. He was released on bail, and is due back in court on Feb. 8.
