Oasis adds dates to North American tour
British rockers Oasis have added several new dates to the North American component of their upcoming world tour, with more dates expected to follow.
Oasis will return to Canada with a March 20 show in Toronto. The band's appearance last spring in that city sold out in less than a day, according to the group's website.
Oasis has also added dates in Houston, Cincinnati and Indianapolis to the U.S. part of its schedule, fortifying previously announced appearances in Milwaukee and Nashville. The Houston show--the first appearance by Oasis in that city in eight years--is a make-up date for a show from last September that was canceled in the wake of Hurricane Rita.
Tickets are still available for the band's shows in Toronto, Cincinnati and Houston. The remainder of the brief outing is sold out.
The band has scheduled an extensive slate of European concerts during February, a month that will also see Oasis travel to Asia for several shows on that continent. The band's full overseas itinerary is posted on its website.
Oasis is still supporting its May 2005 release "Don't Believe the Truth," its sixth studio album, and first since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry."
