Tool, Depeche Mode to lead Coachella fest
Tool and Depeche Mode have been tapped to headline Southern California's seventh annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, joining a bill that features more than 80 artists in all.
Other confirmed acts include Yeah Yeah Yeahs , Franz Ferdinand , Scissor Sisters, Coheed and Cambria, Matisyahu, James Blunt, Common, Atmosphere, Bloc Party, Hybrid, Ladytron, Mogwai, Paul Oakenfold, The Section Quartet, Sigur Ros and Stellastarr. The full confirmed lineup as of Jan. 31 is listed below.
This year's event is set for April 29 and 30 at Indio, CA's Empire Polo Field, east of Los Angeles. Tickets hit the market Saturday (2/4) at Noon PT. General admission tickets are priced at $85 for a one-day ticket and $165 for two-day pass, plus service charges and a $1 donation per day for charity.
For $190 (plus the $2 charity charge and service fees) fans can purchase a two-day pass that includes a pre-order of the "Coachella" documentary DVD.
Parking at the event will again be free. Camping passes for a three-night stay at a nearby camping facility will go on sale at the same time as the tickets.
