Patty Griffin sketches out April tour schedule
Singer-songwriter Patty Griffin has unveiled a batch of concert dates starting in April.
The Austin, TX-based folk singer--who is still supporting her 2005 release, "Impossible Dream"--will hit 11 venues, mostly along the Atlantic Coast, on her upcoming outing, kicking off with an April 4 show in Lexington, KY.
Griffin will end her trip with a free April 22 performance at the Main Street arts festival in Fort Worth, TX. More information on the festival can be found at its official website.
Griffin's "Impossible Dream," which was released in April of 2005, is her fourth studio album, and follows 2002's "1000 Kisses."
The singer's cover of the Henry Mancin/Johnny Mercer standard "Moon River" was recently featured on the soundtrack album of director Cameron Crowe's film "Elizabethtown."
