Eisley maps extensive spring tour behind debut album
Brother-sisters act Eisley has announced dates for its upcoming spring tour, as the band continues to support its most recent release, 2005's "Room Noises."
Things kick off March 18 in New Orleans, the first of 36 stops on a spring outing that will take the band to most parts of the country, as well as a few Canadian destinations.
Brighten and Simon Dawes will provide support on all of Eisley's upcoming dates, with Fair and Tim Curran providing additional support at selected venues.
The Tyler, TX, quintet was formed in 1997 when the DuPree siblings--guitarist Chauntelle, singer/guitarist Sherri, singer/keyboardist Stacy and drummer Weston--hooked up with family friend Jon Wilson (bass) and began playing gigs in their hometown, Partridge Family-style (Stacy DuPree was just eight years old when the band began performing live).
"Room Noises," the band's debut LP, arrived in 2005, following the 2003 releases of Eisley's first and second EPs, "Laughing City" and "Marvelous Things."
