Barry and Robin Gibb, the surviving members of the Bee Gees , reunited for a Saturday (2/18) charity performance at the Diplomat Hotel in Miami.
The show, which raised money for the Diabetes Research institute, marked the first time the pair had performed together publicly since the death three years ago of Maurice Gibb.
Celine Dion and Elton John --along with special guest host Jerry Seinfeld--helped to raise $2.1 million for Hurricane Katrina victims during a Monday (2/20) performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Proceeds from the gala will be earmarked for Harrah's Entertainment's hurricane-affected employees in the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region.
William Cowsill, lead vocalist of '60s family band The Cowsills , died Friday (2/19) in Calgary, Alberta. He was 58.
Cowsill was battling several ailments, including emphysema and osteoporosis.
