Briefly: Madonna, Springsteen, Cake, Kid Rock, Scott Stapp
"I would like to put her as close to her people--her fans, her dancers, her fellow supporters--as possible," Madonna's tour director, Jamie King, told MTV.com.
An itinerary for the tour hasn't been confirmed.
RollingStone.com reports that Bruce Springsteen plans to release a Pete Seeger tribute album in May, tentatively dubbed "The Seeger Sessions." It reportedly will feature a mix of Seeger covers and the standards that the folk icon made famous.
According to the report, Springsteen plans to tour behind the album this spring with a small band.
Sacramento, CA's Cake will release the concert album "Live at the Crystal Palace" sometime in 2006, according to the band's website. "Mexico," one of the tracks that will appear on the set, is streaming at the group's Myspace.com site.
A U.S. district court judge has signed a temporary order that prevents a company from promoting or distributing any part of a video that reportedly features the Detroit rap-rocker and former Creed frontman Scott Stapp engaged in sex acts with four women.
A court hearing on Friday (2/24) will determine whether or not the distribution ban will remain in effect.
The company that plans to sell the tape, World Wide Red Light District, distributed a Paris Hilton sex video in 2004.
