Riffage.Com To Add Section Devoted To Unsigned Bands And Their Influences

MP3 band site Riffage.com and Getmusic.com, BMG and Universal's music commerce site, have announced a plan to present unsigned bands with tracks from their musical heroes.

A special section of the Riffage site, launching in May, will present a select number downloads from BMG/Universal acts, along with tracks from Riffage artists who were influenced by them.

Nearly 11,000 bands have submitted their lists of heroes to Riffage. The final Riffage acts and the BMG/Universal artists have not yet been picked.
