Chicago, Huey Lewis tackle the summer circuit
Classic-rock fans will have plenty to feast on when Chicago teams up with Huey Lewis & The News to canvas the US amphitheater circuit this summer.
The trek, which currently comprises stops in 31 cities, begins in June and wraps up at the end of July. Details are included below.
On Tuesday (3/28), Chicago issues a new album titled "XXX," so named because it is, in fact, the group's 30th album. Jay DeMarcus, a member of country trio Rascal Flatts, produced the set, which features the cut "Feel."
Streaming samples of each track from "XXX" are posted at Rhino Records' website.
Huey Lewis & The News delivered their most recent studio album, "Plan B," in 2001. The set marked the group's first collection of new material since 1991's "Hard at Play."
Last year, Lewis and company marked their 25th anniversary with the release of "Live at 25," a CD and DVD that were recorded during a December 2004 two-night stand in Chico, CA.
