Red Hot Chili Peppers set 'Arcadium' tour cities
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will hit the North American tour trail in August in support of their forthcoming album, "Stadium Arcadium," which is the group's first new studio set in four years.
The band has unveiled a list of about 30 North American cities where the tour will touch down, though dates and venues have not yet been announced. Details are included below.
Tickets for the North American shows will hit the box office May 13, according to a tour announcement. Members of the band's official fanclub will have access to a ticket presale that takes place May 7-8. More information is posted at the group's website.
"Stadium Arcadium," the Chili Peppers' follow-up to 2002's "By the Way," is due in stores May 9. The album features 25 cuts, to include first single "Dani California," which is streaming at the group's website. The song's music video is scheduled to premiere on MTV today (4/4).
"Stadium Arcadium" was produced by longtime RHCP mentor Rick Rubin, and is the follow-up to 2002's "By the Way."
As previously reported, the Chili Peppers' concert plans include a performance at this summer's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
