Every concert on Jimmy Buffett 's upcoming "Party at the End of the World" tour, which launches April 18, will air live on Buffett's Sirius Satellite Radio channel, Margaritaville.
According to a press release, each commercial-free concert will include a 30-minute pre-show broadcast from backstage, featuring pre-show music and interviews with Buffett or members of his Coral Reefer Band.
More than 10,000 items from the wardrobes of Elton John and his partner David Furnish went on sale Tuesday (4/11) at the Elton's Closet show in New York's Rockefeller Center.
The shop will be open through April 15; all of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill 's "Soul2Soul II" tour was Ticketmaster's "most requested event" during the first quarter of 2006, based on online page views, information requests and ticket sales from Jan. 1 through March 31. (Ticketmaster is LiveDaily's parent company.)
According to a Ticketmaster press release, the Top 5 was rounded out by Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffett, David Gilmour and Bon Jovi.
Ranking at Nos. 6 through 10 were Coldplay, Kenny Chesney, Michael Buble, George Strait and Fall Out Boy.
