Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks, according to Bumbershoot's official website.
Detailed ticket information for the event will be announced on July 11, and tickets will go on sale July 15, according to organizers.
This year's three-day Bumbershoot fest takes place over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-4, at its usual home, the 74-acre Seattle Center. The event previously ran for four days.
"We decided to consolidate every single programming dollar into three days instead of four for maximum impact," event producer Heather Smith said in a February press release. "We're trying to achieve a virtual explosion of artistry in the three-day weekend so we can give our audience an amazing experience."
The festival goes beyond music, and will also feature two comedy stages, readings by authors and a film festival, among many other attractions.
