The Strokes expand North American trek

New York rockers The Strokes , who have been on tour all year, are now scheduled to remain on the road in North America through mid-June.

The group is set to spend much of May touring Canada's major cities, a trek that will be sandwiched by several US appearances. The full itinerary is below.

Following the North American tour, the band will spend the summer on the European festival circuit. Details about the European tour are posted at The Strokes' official website.

The Strokes are working the road behind January's "First Impressions of Earth," the follow-up to 2003's "Room on Fire." The new album features the cuts "Juicebox" and latest single "Heart in a Cage."
