Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Xzibit, Treach from Naughty by Nature, Obie Trice, and D12 members Bizarre, Kuniva, Kon Artis and Swift were among the mourners who attended Wednesday's (4/19) funeral for slain Detroit rapper Proof [ tickets ].

"He taught me how to be a leader," Eminem told those in attendance while eulogizing Proof (real name Deshaun Holton), according to the Detroit Free Press. "... Without Proof, there would be no Eminem, no Slim Shady, no D12."

"I want to talk to the black men in here that's coming up in the hood, coming up in the struggle," fellow rapper Obie Trice added. "We're killing each other, dawg. And it's about nothing. Nothing. Nothing. We're all dying. And we're leaving our kids. Our mommas. Our grandmas. Over nothing."

Holton died last week in a shooting incident at a Detroit nightclub. Witnesses and police claim that Holton shot Keith Bender Jr.--who died of his injuries earlier this week--and that Mario Etheridge, a bouncer at the club and Bender's cousin, then shot and killed Holton.

David Lee Roth [ tickets ]'s low-rated and embattled morning-radio show is apparently in the final throes of its demise, according to published reports.

The former Van Halen frontman, who earlier this year took over the CBS Radio morning slot formerly occupied by Howard Stern--who now hangs his hat at SIRIUS Satellite Radio--will apparently make his exit in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, CBS reportedly has cut a deal with XM Satellite Radio to replace Roth--whose program is syndicated in a number of cities throughout the East--XM duo Opie & Anthony.

New albums from fellow country sensations Rascal Flatts [ tickets ] and Toby Keith [ tickets ] scored the first two positions on the forthcoming Billboard 200 album chart, with Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang" selling about 345,000 copies, enough to claim the No. 1 slot, and Keith's "White Trash With Money" following closely behind with sales of about 330,000 copies, according to Billboard.

The 21st installment in the "NOW That's What I Call Music" hits-compilation series drops one spot to No. 3, while the "High School Musical" soundtrack stays put at No. 4. T.I.'s "King" rounds out the Top 5 by dropping from No. 3 into the No. 5 slot.
