Buddy Guy rides again with new album and tour

Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy has announced tour plans well into 2006, as the guitarist looks to build momentum from his recently released, star-studded album "Bring 'Em In."

Guy, who has been touring extensively since the release of his latest album, will next take the stage Friday (11/18) in Lake Buena Vista, FL, as part of the current leg of his tour, which will run through part of December and also see the veteran bluesman travel to Brazil for a number of shows, as well as a date in Mumbai, India.

Guy's full international itinerary can be found at his website.

The 69-year-old Guy has sketched out a second leg of shows beginning with a March 1 appearance in Mesa, AZ.

"Bring 'Em In," which hit stores in September, features an impressive array of guest stars complimenting Guy's covers of traditional blues and R&B standards. Carlos Santana, Keith Richards and John Mayer, among others, appear on the album.

Guy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.
