European industrial outfit KMFDM [ tickets ] ventures across the pond this fall for a North American tour behind its forthcoming album, "Hau Ruck."

The outing launches Sept. 21 in Seattle, and dates so far--many of which are set in Canada--stretch into mid-October. Details are included below.

The roadtrip follows the Sept. 13 release of "Hau Rock," a new studio set whose sound encompasses "heavy guitars, dance-inducing synths and aggressive beats," according to Metropolis Records. The band--founder Sascha "Kapt'n K" Konietzko (vocals, keyboards/synths, drums), Lucia Cifarelli (vocals), Jules Hodgson (guitar), Steve White (guitar) and Andy Selway (drums)--self-produced and mixed the set.

Streaming samples of three of the new album's cuts--"Free Your Hate," "Mini Mini Mini" and the title track--are streaming at KMFDM's website.

Earlier this year, KMFDM issued "20th Anniversary World Tour 2004," a two-DVD set that the group shot during last year's outing. Disc One features live performances, while Disc Two houses behind-the-scenes footage of the tour, a tour journal, band-member bios and more. Additional details are posted at the band's website.

Founded in France in 1984, KMFDM has rotated through various lineups over the years. In 1999, the band issued an album titled "Adios," which it said would be its final release. The group reunited for 2002's "Attak," and followed that up with 2003's "WWIII." The live album "WWIII Tour 2003" followed last year, as did "KMFDM '84-'86: The 20th Anniversary Edition," a two-disc collection that features a mix of rare and previously unreleased tracks.
