String Cheese Incident, Ratdog pair up for tour

The String Cheese Incident will have a typically busy tour schedule this summer, including many co-headlining dates with fellow jam-band Ratdog , led by the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir.
SCI's outing with Ratdog opens June 24 in Santa Margarita, CA, and wraps up July 15 in the Boston area. On a couple of the co-headlining tour's off days, SCI will fit in shows on its own. Details are in the itinerary below.
The roadwork won't end there for SCI. The group will continue on with a mix of festival dates and headlining shows through at least early August.
SCI's fifth studio album, "One Step Closer," hit stores in June of last year.
Weir formed Ratdog in 1995 with bassist Rob Wasserman, who is no longer involved with the group. Though the group has always been a strong draw on the concert circuit, the only Ratdog studio album is "Evening Moods," released by Arista Records in 2000.
