Amy Winehouse hospitalized again

Amy Winehouse was taken to a London hospital Sunday (11/23) because of a reaction to her medication, the singer's spokesperson said.

Britain's The Sun newspaper said the singer was admitted to the hospital after an argument with husband Blake Fielder-Civil sparked a drinking and drugs binge. However, an unnamed friend of the singer told the Daily Mirror that Winehouse is on a drug replacement program and has had similar reactions before.

The 25-year-old performer, who has had a very public battle with health problems, including drug and alcohol addiction, was hospitalized several times this year for various reasons including chronic emphysema, "reaction to medication" and rehab.

Winehouse remained in the hospital Tuesday (11/25) amidst reports of a split with Fielder-Civil, who was released into rehab from prison earlier this month. Winehouse reportedly has yet to visit him at the rehabilitation facility.
