Spring tour launch ahead for Trail of Dead

Bombastic Austin-based rock act . ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is set to embark on a spring club tour to support its latest album, "Worlds Apart."

The outing kicks of in late March, and so far is set to touch down in more than 26 cities, including three gigs in Canada.

The band--which early on built a reputation for raucous live performances that often resulted an destroyed equipment--won't be making an appearance at its hometown's South by Southwest Festival this year, but is scheduled to end the outing April 30 in Austin.

The 12-track "Worlds Apart" album hit stores in January; some tracks from the set are streaming at the band's website.
