Aretha Franklin headlines the Hollywood Bowl

Aretha Franklin will play the Hollywood Bowl June 26 for the first time in 35 years, according to a press release. Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public April 11 at noon Pacific Time.

The Queen of Soul--who performed at President Obama's inauguration--recently was named "The Greatest Singer of All Time" by Rolling Stone. She was the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
