Autopsy: Michael Jackson in 'fairly good' health before death
Michael Jackson did not suffer from any serious pre-existing conditions that would have increased his risk of a drug overdose, according to a copy of the coroner's report on Jackson's death newly obtained by the Associated Press. The autopsy reportedly states that Jackson was "fairly healthy" and had a strong heart.
The self-proclaimed King of Pop reportedly suffered minor conditions including arthritis in the lower spine and in some fingers and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries.
Jackson also reportedly suffered from chronically inflamed lungs, however the condition is not noted as a potential contributing cause of death.
The coroner's report also states Jackson was 5-foot-9 and weighed 136 pounds.
The pop superstar, who had long been criticized for rumored lightening of his skin, also suffered from the medical condition vitiligo, which caused depigmentation of his skin around his chest, abdomen, face and arms, the coroner report confirmed.
His arms reportedly were covered with punctures and his face and neck scarred, according to the document.
The coroner also reportedly confirmed several cosmetic tattoos--on both eyebrows, under his eyes, at his frontal hairline and around his lips.
Jackson death reportedly was caused by a mixture of prescription medications and the anesthetic Propofol.
