Ben Folds Five reunites for MySpace music series
Ben Folds Five will reunite Sept. 18 to kick off a new MySpace-sponsored music program, "Front to Back." The series will feature leading artists performing one of their own seminal albums live in concert, which later will be rebroadcast on the "Front to Back" official MySpace profile, according to a press release.
Ben Folds Five is set to perform their final studio album, "The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner," in its entirety, front to back, at the UNC Memorial Hall in the band's former hometown of Chapel Hill, NC. It will be the group's first live show in nearly 10 years.
The online concert, which will be aired in October, will include interviews with band members as well as with artists who were influenced by the album.
Tickets to the Ben Folds Five taping will go on sale to the public Sept. 8 through etix.com. Additional "Front to Back" shows will be announced in the coming months.
