The jaunt kicks off Feb. 11 with an acoustic show with longtime collaborator Lara Meyerratken at the University of Connecticut's Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in Storrs, CT. It is a co-headlining gig with Ben Kweller.
Lee is pushing "Awake is the New Sleep," his first for New West Records. Produced by Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins), the album includes guest appearances by percussionist Lara Meyerratken, guitarist McGowan Southworth, Jason Schwartzman, Har Mar Superstar, Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis and Jason Faulkner.
